How to get to Holbox?
Follow the next instructions to arrive to our beautiful island:
Go to Chiquilá town from Cancún International Airport (145 km/ 50 miles) or from any other nearby place like Playa del Carmen, Mérida, Chetumal, Riviera Maya o Valladolid.
You can select one of the next shuttle options:
Autobús ADO: Check the schedule and locations where you can board an ADO bus here.
Private shuttle: travel comfortably and safely by hiring a private shuttle service (for 1-10 persons), you indicate the collection point and the time that best works for you, we take care of the rest. Check availability and prices here.
Rent-A-Car: Rent-a-car from the Cancun International Airport and travel on your own to Chiquilá town, once you arrive, you must leave your car in a parking site (remember Holbox is cars free). We recommend the following sites: Parking el Pescador and Cirilo’s Car Parking
2. Once in Chiquilá, you can board the ferry that will transport you to Holbox island, the ticket is purchased per person with payment exclusively in cash. Check the schedule here.
3. Once you arrive to Holbox, you can choose between taking a taxi or walking (15 to 20 mins) through 10 beautiful small blocks until you reach Diosa Kali.
